Some sixth form students may be placed in our emerging group dependant on individual needs. Our KS4 emerging group focuses on supporting students to get at least four GCSEs in a year. This is to equip students with the necessary qualifications to move onto college or to remain in our Sixth Form. These Level 2 qualifications include English Language, maths, statistics, photography and employability skills. Students can attend a work experience placement and participate in the wider school community by attending timetabled weekly wellbeing and games lessons to ensure they become healthy, well-balanced individuals.

Our Sixth Form provision offers students the opportunity to choose from a range of qualifications. These include the traditional A Level Mathematics, Business, Art and/or Photography. We also offer the newer Level 3 AAQ in Early Child Development and RSL Digital Media qualification. Students have the option to take the AS level EPQ (Extended Project) and Core Maths, along with BTEC Level 2 Animal Care course. All students are timetabled a PSHE, wellbeing, and games lesson, along with employability skills. Some of our students use their time at the school to re-sit either English or Maths GCSE. Students also have access to a counsellor, mental health nurse and an independent careers advisor.
